Christmas Message: Nasarawa Stakeholders Preaches  Peaceful Co-existence

Stakeholders in Nasarawa state has appealed to the people of the state to leave peacefully with one another in spite of tribal and religious affiliation.

Senator Suleiman Adokwe, senator representing Nasarawa South (PDP) hinted this in a Christmas message to the broad-spectrum populace of the state, he sue for peace amongst the diverse ethnic groups in the state, calling for harmonious understanding.

Also speaking the Interim Management Committee chairman of Doma local government, John Ogah urged the people of Doma to unite for the interest of the community.

Calling on Christians and Muslims to see this period as a moment of sober reflection not merry making alone, saying Christmas is about sharing and caring.

The member Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Mohammed Okpede in his Christmas message pray for Nasarawa state and the nation at large,as he called on youth to eschew violence.

Commenting on the ensuing imbroglio between Doma Progressive Forum and the former governor, Aliyu Akwe Doma for blocking access road linking two public schools in Doma community, the Honorable member said elders in Doma would address the impasse amicably.

A former council chairman of Nasarawa Eggon,Honorable Raymond Akolo also called for peace, calling on Nigerians to pray fervently over the current economic challenges faced by Nigerians.

Dr.Janet Angbazo,a permanent Secretary, ministry of environment, Nasarawa state urged the people of the state to leave as a one and united family.

Christmas celebration was celebrated devoid of rancor as security personnel were deployed to places of worships and highways.
