Chief Pamson Dagyat Inaugurates New Path Agenda ,Seeks An End To Plateau Killings

The Director General of New Path Agenda Chief Pamson Dagyat, has inaugurated Jos South New Paths Agenda Field Marshalls on the 10th August 2025 by calling on government to implement effective surveillance using simple CCTV devices to put an end to the incessant attacks in Plateau State .

Pamson Dagyat stated this during the inauguration ceremony of Jos South committee at GNS Pwajok, Community Hall, Kwata and MrbMwadlok Bemat Kuru .

According to him, ‘i stand before you not just as a Convener and Director General of the Black Hat Movement, but as a proud representative of a political force committed to offering credible alternatives that protect our people, our land, and our heritage.

‘ We will stand firmly in support of President Tinubu and Governor Mutfwang if and only if they put an end to the senseless killings! How many more must we be losing them before those in power take decisive action against the terrorists plaguing our communities?’.

We wear black not as a sign of mourning, but as a celebration of the rich resources (TIN and CULUMBITE);—the black gold—that our Creator has bestowed upon us. It is time for us to transition from grief to prosperity.

It is a misconception that the Mutfwang government cannot act against the ongoing violence because he is not the President.

Look at Enugu; look at Abia! They have implemented effective surveillance using simple CCTV devices.

 I raised this viable solution during Lalong’s tenure and offered the same solution to GCM, yet we have seen no action, and the killings have continued unabated.’ Enough is enough.

Thank God we live in a democracy! We have the right to support or oppose the government based on their actions or inactions.

We must engage in meaningful conversations, whether over a drink or in our workplaces, with three, five, or even more individuals. Every discussion counts, and every voice matters.

Take this to the bank, we will contest every position, standing shoulder to shoulder with those who share our vision, whether they are currently in power or striving to reclaim it. Mark my words: we will contest every election—from councilor and local government chair, to House of Assembly, governorship, House of Representatives, and the Senate. We have already demonstrated this capacity in Kuru, where we campaigned for an election taking place on the same day but for three candidates from different parties, all of whom yielding the same results. The people of Plateau know the difference between parties and candidates!

Let those in power know that if they think they have blocked the Normal paths we have created NEW PATHS and our agenda is Securing the People, the Land and our Heritage.

To our field marshals, I implore each of you to engage our wards and polling units in discussions—because we are everywhere!

Let us forge a new path where the wisdom of our elders is creatively combined with the vigor of our youth to protect our people from political entrepreneurs.

Now, let us rise and give a resounding applause for our field marshals as they embrace this vital assignment.

Other dignitaries that witnessed the event and spoke were the aspirants for PKK, Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency in the upcoming elections of 2027, the even was witnessed by thousands of people and supporters in and around Jos south LGA, next for the inauguration of the New Path Agenda field marshals will be in Bokkos LGA on the 17th of August 2025.
