The Former Member Representing Wase State Assembly Constituency and the Deputy Speaker RLohlum Samuel has cried for urgent assistance from the federal and the Plateau State governments following the destruction of his residence in Kadarko District of Wase Local Government Council of Plateau State .
The Ex- Deputy Speaker , said since 6th of March, 2007 , he fled the home and needed to return and reconstruct his destroyed twin flats burnt down completely , as a result of politically motivated attack by some sponsored irate thugs .
Lohlum Samuel stated that as a result of the attack, so many people were killed and his grains stocked inside the rooms were torched so as a victim of the unrest that affected his community in Kadarko ,Wase LGA ,he is appealing to the authority for financial assistance to rebuild the destroyed edifice .
He called on the state emergency management agency (SEMA) and the federal governments to come to his aid so as he return back to his hometown .
According to him, then ,his twin flats of 3 bedrooms bungalow each had assorted grains stocked inside of the wings which value over forty million naira burnt .
He call on the government of Governor Caleb Mutfwang to intervene as his family are rendered homeless and scattered .
Lohlum stressed that the 6th March, 2007 was politically motivated skirmishes in Wase LGA which his hometown was tragically affected with houses set ablaze by irate youths including his twins flat .
Since the unfortunate incident occurred his family have never sleep in Kadarko district which had inflicted pain by rendering the family homeless and he had to be squatting with relatives in Langtang North LGA .
However ,due to significant setback recorded ,he requesting the state government to assist him rebuild the destroyed edifice because at his aged he lacking the financial muzzle to embark on reconstruction of the said destroyed residence.
