“ Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world…would do this, it would change the earth”-William Faulkner.

Despite the threats, intimidation and humiliation, I came back with yet another bombshell on how the good people of Bauchi State were deceived with the slogan change.

I’ve always believed that there is no possible compromise between good and evil. You may say, “Who is to decide which is which?”. Borderline cases abound, and in these, tolerance is essential. But in the main issues which have threatened and afflicted our state-Bauchi, there’s no doubt whatever between good and evil. I believe with all my heart and mind that there are certain moral imperatives, that we cannot get away from at any hour, and that they apply even to the daily round of the lives of political office holders and those put in positions of trust.

It appears that we are not concerned enough with the fact that Bauchi State is going mechanically and morally backward. It follows that for what is, in essence, inexcusable, we must make no allowances. Refusal to equate right and wrong in any walk of life will bring no great success and may involve some obloquy.

In a democratic society, whenever we cast our votes we contribute in a very real sense towards guiding the society’s destiny. Therefore those entrusted with public funds by way of their political status who misuse them have cases to answer and should be seen to do so. We (the good people of Bauchi State) should not stand and celebrate in jubilation those that are punishing us. In fact, this is the demonstration of democratic change at work.

Even thought the 2015 election kicked up the “Change Mantra”. In Bauchi nothing changed yet, the government of change has embezzled tens of billions of Naira in it’s first 12 month with nothing to prove as a change signal. Civil servants were deceived with verification while their salaries remain unpaid. The elderly who exhausted their energetic days serving the state were declared as “ghost pensioners”.

The government also awarded a roads contract in Bauchi metropolis and Misau-Udubo to ease transport for the commuters flying the roads on regular basis. As the Bauchians celebrates this gesture, huge irregularities discovered; the money allocated for the contracts will pay six-times roads the governor allocated and the contractors has no enough modern equipments to undertake the project.

At a point things get worse, the government of change came up with it’s road map for winning second term come 2019. The documents leaked out disappointed most of the APC members. Some started to shop new candidate to replace GMA in 2019 while others reported the governor to the party’s national leadership and to the president as well.

The governor had also failed to stay in the state to confront the critical issues that declines the state, instead he exhausted must of his time aboard traveling within and outside Nigeria advitising an empty mall.

2019;….

May 29, 2019, will mark the end of GMA’s administration if urgent reforms were not made in the next two years. The godsons that depends the clueless government will end up regretting as their godfathers that misruled the peal of tourism will kick hide-and-seek game with the EFCC. The chief servant that slept on his responsibilities will be wake by the truimpet of victory by the people that are tired of the misrule.

The change…

At the time when Bauchi citizens becomes more desperate to see the change they voted in 2015, they will end up with GMA’s administration disappointed with unfulfilled hopes and expectations, unmet needs, increased poverty, hunger, anger, and hopelessness.

Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar ‘s administration will become irrelevant, confused, clueless, constrained, weakened, drained, and mangled beyond recognition. Above all, it’ll usher in a new set of ancient evils that will signal the death of the state.

There will be no innovation or any reform to transform the decadent education system from its dilapidated physical and content structures into mordern system of innovative learning. Deaths on our roads will increase and persist.

The government that mentioned 37 hand-pump borehole among it’s one year  achievements would not provide new dams to produce drinking water.

Corruption will remain the liquid that passes through the vessels of the administration as it happens currently. Those writers and critics that offered free help to his excellency  to enable him realize and appreciate that leadership position is not a spectator position and forwading the complaints, concerns, and expectations of the good people of Bauchi State would be intimidated,  threatened and called bad names because they preferred the will of the masses than evil acts of the administration.

The government will keep nagging and when concerned citizens criticizes the situation, incurable optimists will quickly dismiss their view and come up with the same old, tired, worn out excuses and reasons, which we’re already familiar with.

“His excellency knows what he’s doing. Let’s continue to pray for him. With prayers, we’ll get to the finish line, Our people are impatient people, Slow and steady wins the race, change does not happen overnight it will be long and painful journey.

To Chief servant;…

Days goes too fast, but you still have opportunity to do something better. Its obvious Bauchi state citizens have lost confidence in you but future holds many secrets.
