Leaders and stakeholders of the Bwatiye community under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty and commitment to the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, commending his developmental initiatives and inclusive governance in Adamawa State.
The reaffirmation came during a solidarity visit to the newly elected PDP executives at the Government House, Yola, where the delegation expressed confidence in his leadership and pledged continued support for his government’s policies aimed at promoting unity, security, and socio-economic progress across the state.
Pithon Power, representing the Deputy Governor at the event, said the gathering was not only to celebrate the emergence of the new PDP chairman but also to underscore the Bwatiye community’s renewed commitment to the party’s vision of inclusive governance and sustainable development.
He also lauded Governor Fintiri for numerous infrastructural projects and empowerment programs that have positively impacted their communities. They particularly appreciated the administration’s interventions in education, healthcare, road construction, and youth development.
Stressing that the community’s active participation in the PDP was a deliberate effort to contribute meaningfully to the state’s developmental agenda.
Joan Samah, commissioner for Land and Survey, one of the conveners of the visit reiterated the group’s confidence in the PDP despite recent defections to other political parties.
He maintained that such movements have had no impact on the community’s faith in the leadership of the party, assuring that the Bwatiye nation remains firmly aligned with the PDP and its progressive ideals.
In his remarks, Hamza Madagali the State PDP Chairman commended the Bwatiye stakeholders for their solidarity, describing the visit as a “bold and unifying message” that reaffirms the party’s strength and grassroots appeal across all zones of Adamawa State.
He dismissed criticisms of Governor Fintiri’s administration as “acts of mischief” by detractors, asserting that the government’s achievements in infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment speak for themselves.
