Bukuru Cattle Marketers Drum Support For War Against Anti-Corruption, Cattle Rustling

The Bukuru cattle Traders Association of Nigeria has drummed their support toward  the ongoing war against anti-corruption and cattle rustling by Governor Simon Bako Lalong.

The Chairman of Market, Alh Bala Mohammed Makafo who disclosed this in an interview at the Market said, they have constituted a committee to ensure that there is a dialogue with both aggrieved groups.

According to him, everybody in this country must join in the fight against corruption” the monster that stagnate the development and growth of the country.

He appealed to Muslims and Christians that as ordinary citizen of this country they must join hands with Mr President to fight against corruption adding that it is the only way the country will move forward.

Makarfo also advised the government to vehemently fight against corruption at any time and any moment as he promised to liaise with the Governor in the area of combating cattle rustling.

He congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Simon Lalong for clocking 100 days in office and repositioning the country for effective service delivery.

We have constituted a committee to evolve a permanent solution to Riyom and Barkin Ladi killings between the herdsmen-farmers crisis in the state.

Makafo called for immediate ban of streets trading, adding that the government should partner with commercial banks to provide ATM and modern banking system to ease their businesses because they always experience the activities of armed robbery gang after selling their cattle.

The chairman commended the B. division police and the STF patrol for their quick prosecution of fraudsters.

He called on Governor Simon Lalong government to come to their rescue with fencing of the market to avoid activities of cattle rustlers and thieves in the area.
