Buhari Won’t Address Nigerians On COVID-19 Today — Presidency

The Presidency has denied reports in the media that President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation today again on the Coronavirus Disease.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said there would be no presidential broadcast.

Adesina, on his Twitter handle on Monday, said the PTF would address Nigerians on the next stage in combating the virus.

He tweeted: “No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today.

 

“None was planned.

 

“Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps.”
