APC Presidential Candidate, Retired General Muhammadu Buhari has promised to tackle corruption and insecurity if elected in 14 February Presidential election. In his speech he promised to bring in new ground by salvaging the country from her present predicament which he listed as corruption and insecurity. He guaranteed that impetus would be accorded to the fight on corruption and insecurity which described as a cankerworm that has eaten deep into the nation.
The APC Presidential candidate opined that his administration would also give priority to the resuscitation of the education sector as well as to enhance the health sector, other areas he promised to accord greater importance is the exploration of solid mineral.
Buhari said the exploration of solid minerals would create job opportunity to the unemployed youth roaming the street, he also challenged APC supporters to turn en mass to cast their vote, he further challenged  APC supporters to make sure that all vote counts.
Muhammadu Buhari also commissioned the million naira Lafia Square, the Governor, Umaru Tanko-Al-Makura called on the people of the state to vote APC from Assembly to President, he  promise to give special attention to infrastructure and stomach.
The National Chairman of the party Oyegun described the presidential flag bearer as an apostle of change, saying Nigeria needed incorruptible man, as he called on the people of Nasarawa to vote APC.
The two times former governor of the state, Abdullahi Adamu said the PDP would crumble in next month election, adding that change is imminent in the country. “No Light, no water, poor health facilities, APC would restore the lost glory of the nation.”
The party National Chairman also welcomed some PDP heavyweight which includes Jonh Danboyi, Tanko Zubairu, Yusuf Loko, 9 ex-councillors among others who dumped the PDP to APC.
