The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has set aside Abang’s ruling that gave the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, order to publish Jimoh Ibrahim’s name as Ondo State PDP Governorship candidate.
The presiding Judge, Justice Salauwa also ordered INEC to return Eyitayo Jegede’ Name as the authentic PDP candidate, as it branded Jimoh Ibrahim an impostor.
As it is all the objections filed by Mr. Ibrahim and group were also dismissed by the Court.
The Court below was in error when it declared that Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim is the lawful candidate of the PDP, the court added.
According to the court, it said; Jimoh Ibrahim’s so called Ibadan primaries is a sham according to constitutional provisions.
It also accused justice Abang of displaying ‘violent attitudinal disposition’ to the rule of law.
