President Muhammadu Buhari Monday night announced via his twitter handle that he will travel to London on Tuesday to see his doctors.
The Presidency on Monday night announced that President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to London in the United Kingdom to see doctors.
The tweets reads thus; “I will be traveling to the United Kingdom tomorrow, to see my doctor, at his request. Will be away for four days; back in Abuja on Saturday, May 12.”
Continuing he said: “The Presidency has issued a statement to this effect. I look forward to my 2-day State Visit to Jigawa State on Monday and Tuesday next week, after my return.”
Meanwhile his media aide, Garba Shehu said; “In the course of the technical stop-over for aircraft maintenance in London on his way back from Washington last week, the President had a meeting with his doctor.
The Doctor requested the President to return for a meeting which he agreed to do.
President Buhari will return on Saturday, May 12th.
On his return, the President’s two-day State Visit to Jigawa, which was postponed because of the All Progressives Congress, APC’s Ward Congresses, will now take place on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th May.
