Report available to us from Minna Niger State Capital indicates that the Academic Staff Union of Universities Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has called off its five months strike.
Universal Reporters gathered the union arrived at the latest decision to suspends its strike after a lengthy meeting held at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State today.
It will be recalled that the Union and Federal Government recently reached a compromise few days a ago during a negotiation between them Union, Federal Government and the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Abdulwaheed Omar.
