A damaging election survey report submitted by a high profile consulting firm on the Osun governorship election is creating ripples within the Osun All Progressives Congress(APC).
The firm was commissioned by the APC caucus close to its governorship candidate to assess the chances of the party vis a vis the incumbent Ademola Adeleke. The survey was reportedly conducted soon after the controversial emergence of Mr Bola Oyebamiji as the candidate of the party.
An executive summary of the report leaked to our reporter painted a picture of overwhelming low popularity of both the candidate and the APC and concluded that over 70 percent of respondents favour an Adeleke re-election.
The report further gave a synopsis across federal constituencies and senatorial districts which showed that the APC will woefully fail by over 80 percent across Osun West, by over 70 percent in the Osun Central and by over 68 percent in the eastern senatorial district.
The report of the A-class consultant is reported to be in hands of very few top echellon on the AMBO campaign team with a strict instruction never to speak about it in general caucus meetings.
