Breaking: More Crisis In Plateau PDP, As Useni Group, Constitutes Care Taker Committee, Dislodges Jang Group from Secretariat, Seals It Off

In the early hours of Friday Morning ,Two factions of the People Democratic Parry ,battling to control the affairs of state led by the group of former Deputy Senate President ,Dr. Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu  ,Lt Jeremiah Timbut Useni  Rtd,  ,Hon Damishi Sango who dislodged the group of Senate Jonah David Jang ,Hon Beni Dauahep Lar ,Hon Musa Bagos, House of Assembly members from Jos North.

 

The Plateau State  ,PDP, chapter which has embedded in fresh crisis had constituted the following care taker committee that is been  chairED by Hon Nandom Penal Exo ,secretary Hon  Engr Godwin W. Bedir ,PRO Hon Akims Mamot James ,Women leader Hon Mrs Asabe Dareng ,Member Nathaniel Dakas ,Hon Elder Jacob Dashe ,Member and Alh Kabiru Musa also member.

 

Information available to our medium who arrived the scene of the upheaval saw security personnel sealed off the party office shortly during the aftermath of state lockdown.

 

Some thugs believed to be loyal to camp of both besieged the party office when the one Emmanuel Tuwan whose tenure expired on the 10th of May, 2020 was sighted by these youths to attack him

 

This medium gathered that the former Governor Jonah David Jang who is gradually loosing grip of his supporters with the issue of the inauguration of the care taker committee to conduct the state congress that can usher in new exco .

 

Our correspondent gathered that ,Sen. Ibrahim Mantu ,JT Useni ,Hon Emmanuel Goar,Hon Titus Alams ,SAN  Edward Pwajok ,Hon Kemi Nshe ,,Sen Istifanus Dalyop Gyang ,Chief John Mankelik ,Hon Mike Dapialong ,Mrs Ladi  Nimlang ,Barr Samson Dagyyat ,Hon Aminu Zang ,Bitrus Kaze ,NGO  Monica’s Gwom ,Prof Dem Mailafiya including others prominent stakeholders .

 

The Party Care taker committee secretary, Hon ,Engr Godwin Bedir while addressing journalists at the state Secretariat disclosed that the exercise became necessary owning to the tenure expiration of the Ag Exco who are also vying for be elected under the platform of PDP and are still occupying their individual offices .

 

He said, however, the BOT members in Plateau state sat down and deliberated upon it and came up with the present list of credible politicians from neutral ground to do justice to our lingering crisis

 

 

Bedir explained further the list has already been forward to the party National Secretariat as the authentic members who are to conduct the state congress

 

He added that as we all know the tenure of Plateau state PDP excos led by Hon Gwot Chocho have since elapsed midnight Sunday 10th May ,2020 ,in line with section 47(1) of the party constitution 2017 as amended whereas the out gone exco have served a tenure of four years. Upon the expiration of the past exco tenure and based on the directive of the national working committee our their great party suspension of party activities was effected because of covid-19 where the state government issued out directives of lockdown.
