Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun is said to have resigned from her position, 69 days after her NYSC certificate scandal.
DAILY TRUST reports that Adeosun resigned on Friday, but not sure when the minister submitted her resignation letter.
Recalls that Adeosun’s alleged certificate forgery was first brought to the public domain after PREMIUM TIMES exclusively reported months back that the minister allegedly submitted “fake” NYSC certificate in 2015 when President Muhmmadu Buhari appointed her finance minister.
The Ministry of Finance nor the Presidency is yet to release an official statement as regards Adeosun’s resignation, but reports have it that the minister has been unstable since the certificate scandal first broke and felt that her position is becoming shaky.
