BREAKING: Again, Gunmen Attack Kwara Community, Abduct 11 Persons Including Pregnant Woman, Children

Gunmen suspected to be bandits stormed Isapa community in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, abducting a pregnant woman, 10 children, two nursing mothers, and several others.

Sources said about 20 to 30 armed men carried out the attack, moving through the community with a herd of cattle while firing indiscriminately.

During the incident, a stray bullet reportedly struck an elderly woman.

A community leader, speaking to National Pilot, confirmed that 11 people were kidnapped, including seven members of the same household.

The victims have been identified as Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat, Fatima Yusufu, Sarah Sunday, Lami Fidelis, and Haja Na Allah.

The assailants reportedly escaped via bush paths connecting Eruku to neighbouring villages, leaving residents in fear and confusion.

This attack follows a similar incident two weeks ago when bandits raided the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), abducting 38 members and killing some.

The government later rescued all the abducted church members.
