The Bogoro local government chairman, Honorable Markus Bitrus Lusa on Thursday sympathized with the people of the Bar Kudu community over the demise of two women and three injured persons during a mining site accident.
Reacting to the incident, Honorable Lusa urged the people of the community to remain calm and take the incident as the will of God.
He said that “Five women miners were involved in a mining site accident after a mining pit collapsed on them at the Bar Kudu area of the local government.
He added that during the mining site accident “Two of the women died while others survived with different types of injuries and fractures,”
Honorable Lusa said that the Bogoro local government will do all it takes in order to contribute immensely to the preparation of the two burials and to also help the immediate families of the deceased.
Added that the three other women will be provided enough medication for the good of their health, prays to God for a quick recovery, and come back to normal life as other people are.
