I was looking at a copy of Mahmood Jega’s column in Daily Trust Published: Jun 13 2016, titled; between louse and double louse. In it, he sympathized the Americans for finding themselves in a difficult situation of choosing between Hilary Clinton of Democrats and Donald Truimp of Republican, declaring the candidates as the Louse and double Louse.
Considering the current political crisis between the government of Bauchi state led by Barrister Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar and the elite in the ruling APC led by speaker of the House of Representatives Rt.Hon. Yakubu Dogara, and; the frequent criticism against the Governor by Dogara led faction as well as the passionate defense favour of Governor Abubakar by his supporters, it’s obfuscation for an unbiased observer to arrive at a reasonable conclusion about the uproar. I therefore decided to look into the crises with the same forecast.
This is because the assertions and counter-assertions by both parties are largely devoid of specific facts to support their claims, which means that their purported arguments and counter-arguments are simply too unreasonable to constitute reasonable reasons that will straightaway exonerate or guilt

In his part, the governor has slept on his responsibility while his supporters were largely motivated by greed that rendered them too blindfolded to see anything negative about him, as the Dogara led faction were largely too opinionated to say the truth about the Governor.
Dogara led faction are the group of cabals mostly members of the National Assembly that failed the good people of Bauchi state and now looking for public sympathy by hiding under GMA’s failure, While the governor was frustrated by the increase of their popularity in their respective constituencies and declared them as the main threat in his reelection bid come 2019.
Bauchi state citizens, the innovators of “Akasa a Tsare” have not seen the fruit of the change they voted in 2015. The governor, senators, members of the House of Representatives, members of state assemblies and most of other political office holders have betrayed the confidence repose on them by the gallant sons of Tafawa Balewa.
The GMA led administration have disappointed the citizens of the state with unfulfilled hopes and expectations, unmet needs, increased poverty, hunger, anger, and hopelessness.
The administration has become irrelevant, confused, clueless, constrained, weakened, drained, and mangled beyond recognition. Above all, it has ushered a new set of ancient evils that signals the death of the state.
After 15 months, there was no innovation or any reform to transform the decadent education system from its dilapidated physical and content structures into modern system of innovative learning. Deaths on our roads increased and persisted.
Those writers and critics that offered free help to his excellency to enable him realize and appreciate that leadership position is not a spectator position and forwarding the complaints, concerns, and expectations of the good people of Bauchi State are being intimidated, threatened and called bad names because they preferred the will of the masses than evil acts of the administration.
At a point things get worse, the government of change came up with its road map for winning second term come 2019. The documents leaked last August indicated that a committee formed by the state government to set out modalities for GMA’s have recommended that all members the federal house of Assembly and some of their state counterparts would be substituted with government’s loyalists as a compensation for their loyalty and pave way for GMA’s reelection bid. Also, the deputy governor’s service will be terminated and replaced with someone who has more political influence from Bauchi North. The content of these documents shocked the entire state and left most of the APC members disappointed with Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar. Some started to shop new candidate to replace GMA in 2019 while others reported the governor to the party’s national leadership and to the president as well.
Being the victims of GMA’s 2019 agenda, Dogara’s faction turned to the masses as their only source of political strength come 2019.
In 2019, the battle will be tough in the ruling APC, it will be between the two faction that I see as a Louse and double Louse.
It is important to remember that Dogaras faction is viewed unfavourably only inside the Bauchi State government house. Most of the masses views them favourably, or at least as a “normal” politicians, compared to Governor Muhammad Abubakar who the most common men and women thinks is crazy. In real sense, Dogara’s team is louse, but Governor Abubakar is a double Louse.
