Berom Signs Mou With Acreditr Technology On Poverty, Insecurity

The National President of Berom Youths Moulders-Association, Gabriel Sunday Badung has said, a critical step has been taken with the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with Acreditr Technology to reduce endemic poverty, economic woes orchestrated by violent attacks on Berom nation in Plateau State

 

Badung disclosed this during the signing of the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) With Acreditr Technology and Union Bank for economic and financial drive to empower women and youths in Berom land.

 

“The Berom Nation has gone through a lot ranging from poverty, unemploymentz crisis and displacement, underdevelopment and stagnation; a situation we must never allowed to continue in our land, therefore the narrative must change.

 

“We have carefully designed a plan that will salvage the situation by creating a platform for every Berom Progressive persons particularly the youths to contribute to the progress and development of Berom land.

 

“The Platform will give people ample opportunity to contribute a token of N100 monthly, which will be paid using a customized recharge card. Contributors will be required to purchase our customized recharge card, load it on their phones and dial a code for the payable amount to he deducted from the airtime and credit the BYM account.”

 

He assumed that if 100,000 persons pay N100 monthly, that will account to N10 million and the organisation will have N120,000 million in a year, saying that will aid development and economy empowerment of the indigents youths.

 

Badung said: “The contributed funds will be investigated in businesses that will yield bigger and better profit, as this will also create employment opportunities for our teaming youths.

 

“There will be provision of social amenities in our communities, we will build qualitative schools in our districts  to cater  for the  educational needs of your people and the Berom Nation.”

 

The Chief Executive Officer of Acreditr Technology International LTD, Engr. Ibrahim Njidda said the initiative will help the Organisation to generate internal revenue from its members for the good of the nation.

 

He explained that they will take off effectively from 3 May, 2019 and that they will in collaboration with Union Bank and MTN create a data base for the Organisation and each member was expected to open an account with Union Bank or preferred Bank.
