Benue State Signs Deal With Kaorheem Energy And Taicorp Capital For 10,000 Jobs

The Benue State Government has partnered with Kaorheem Energy Services Limited and Taicorp Capital Partners to create over 10,000 job opportunities. The partnership aims to drive investments in education, innovation, agro-processing, and infrastructure.

The collaboration will leverage Artificial Intelligence to transition Benue’s economy from agrarian to industrialized, focusing on high-value product creation from raw agricultural produce.

Benue State is rich in crops like yams, soya beans, cassava, and maize. The partnership plans to establish an agro-processing hub to produce finished products for local and export markets.

The initiative supports Governor Hyacinth Alia’s efforts to set up the Benue State University of Agriculture, Science, and Technology, enhancing the agricultural value chain.

The project is expected to reduce waste, add value to farm produce, and position Benue as Africa’s agricultural hub, tackling food insecurity.

Kaorheem Energy Services Limited and Taicorp Capital Partners will mobilize global capital for the transformative investments.

The partnership aligns with the state’s vision for sustainable industrialization, backed by research and academic-industrial collaboration.

The Benue State University of Agriculture, Science, and Technology will bridge the gap between theory and industrial application.

The agro-processing hub will produce flours from yams, tomato pastes, and soya bean products, among others.

Chief Solomon Iorpev, the Governor’s Technical Adviser on Media, Publicity, and Strategic Communication, confirmed the development.

The partnership is expected to drive inclusive wealth creation and transform Benue’s economy.
