Be Father To All, Sen.Adamu Tells Nasarawa Deputy Governor

The first executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Sen.Abdullahi Adamu has called on the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State to carry all and sundry along devoid of ethnic and religious beliefs in the State.

 

The senator representing Nasarawa West senatorial district hinted this during the grand reception organîzed by Doma community in honor of the Deputy Governor of the State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, an occasion held at Doma central Primary school.

 

He tasked Dr.Akabe to embrace all, stating that the reception organîzed to honor him is a clear testimony of wider acceptance by the people of Doma community.

 

“To whom much is given much is expected” adding that “he that does not have yesterday will not have tomorrow”.

 

Saying hard work, doggedness and commitment has elevated the Deputy Governor to a higher pedestal whose biography was compounded with challenges.

 

The immediate past Governor of Nasarawa State,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura while delivery his speech thanked the people of Doma community for recognizing him.

 

He said the people of Doma community are amiable and would remain amiable and relevant in the political space of Nasarawa State.

 

The Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Tanimu Yahaya Sarkin Noma applauded dignitaries for finding time to grace the occasion.

 

Sarkin Noma affirmed that the fundamental of organizing the grand reception was to recognize the personality of the Deputy Governor as well appreciate some highly placed figures especially Governor. Engr Abdullahi Sule for nominating Dr. Akabe as his Deputy.

 

The executive Chairman of Doma Local Government, Hon.Rabo Sani in his welcome address thanked the State Governor for finding Dr.Akabe worthy to serve in the capacity of a Deputy Governor.

 

Sani also thanked the ruling All Progressives Congress in the State for chosen the Deputy Governor worthy for the assignment.

 

“We are very greatful and assuring His Excellency that our son would be a worthy material that will ever be loyal to the Government of Nasarawa State, we urged Governor Sule to keep faith in our son.

 

His Royal Highness, the Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah thanked the two former Governors of the State for their immense contribution to Doma community, he appreciate Senator Abdullahi Adamu for handing over power to late Aliyu Akwe Doma.

 

He however applauded the immediate past Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for recognizing Doma community during his 8 years reign in office.

 

Stating that the history of Doma community would not be completed without mentioning the personality of Abdullahi Adamu.

 

“The selection of Aliyu Akwe Doma alone is something that would not be forgotten so soon by Doma community” he added.

 

He also shower encomium on Governor Engr. A.A.Sule for nominating Dr Akabe as his Deputy.
