The Andoma of Andoma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah has admonished the Senator representing Nasarawa South Senatorial district to bring a better legacy for other politicians to copy by seeing Nasarawa South as his constituency, not Doms Local Government alone.
The traditional ruler disclosed his position when Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo paid the monarch a thank-you visit at his palace.
Saying the titles accorded to indigents of Doma is not for sale or money-making but rather was meant to spur others to wake up and contribute toward the development of the community.
Andoma said the elevation of the incumbent Senator representing Nasarawa South Senatorial district from the title of Turakin Doma to his current traditional title of Ciroman Doma.
“The elevation is to prepare him for bigger Tasks ahead as well to spur upcoming youths and indigenes of Doma to do more but not to relax”.
According to him, “Senator just gets the right set of people that will support you do the right thing”.
He urged the Senator to duel on anything that will foster unity as well bring peace to the State, He in addition maintained that Onawo should support the present administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu opined that the title bestowed on Alhaji Abu Giza was due to his immense contributions to humanity especially in the area of appointment.
“What Ciroman Obi has done as a Federal civil servant and is still doing is indelible in the sands of Nasarawa State, God will guide and protect you for us,” said the paramount ruler.
Again you are given this new responsibility because of your respect for elders in Doma as he recalled how committed Abu Giza was to the like of the former Governor of the State Late Aliyu Akwe Doma.
One of the beneficiaries of the title, Alhaji Abu Giza, The Sadauki Babba in an interview at the abode of Senator Onawo thanked the royal father, The Andoma of Doma for the elevation.
The Distinguished Senator of the Republic Federal of Nigeria, In his response, congratulates the paramount for attaining the age of 19 years on the throne of his great-grandfather.
Praying to Almighty God to guide and protect him as he prays for more years ahead on the throne.
He appealed to his supporters to remain calm and resolute at all times.
