BCO Urges EFCC To Investigate Distribution Of Palliatives To Fed And State Govts

The National Chairman  Buhari Campaign  Organization, BCO, Hon Danladi Pasali  has said the Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, should embark on a thorough investigation of those responsible for the sharing of palliatives to vulnerable Nigerian as they have use their offices towards siphoning items meant to be disbursed to people.

 

Pasali frowned at a situation where the federal government has released funds and sorted grains sent from the Federal government to be given to Nigerians to cushion the harsh difficulty experienced as a result of the lock down period.

He expressed surprise where officials who are saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that people who are living in rural areas benefited from the palliatives but is quite shocking that the palliatives was shared on party basis not in accordance with the government directive.

Pasali who raised alarm that the level of poverty and corruption by those in the helm of affairs is pushing him see Nigeria as the worst and the most corrupt country in the world today.

He charged Federal agencies saddled with the duty of ensuring that transparency to do the needful to save this country from the hands of corrupt politicians and selfish individuals who are sabotaging the policy of Mr President.

According to him, the government of Plateau state under the able leadership of Governor Simon Bako  Lalong should allow farmers across the 17 LGAs and the  neighboring states who are genuine farmers to come farm because raining season is here otherwise the country  might be heading poor harvest next year.

Danladi applauded governor Lalong policy on the lock down but explained further that plateau state being   Agrarian community servicing its neighboring states  and her citizens should let farmers go to farm to avoid economic depression.

He lamented that the target audience by the authority are yet to receive any palliatives, “we are shocked that we  only see politicians coming to collect the rice, assorted foods supply to take care of the people which is not what the APC plan for Nigerians.
