Bauchi To Partner ASAN, NIAS  On Livestock Husbandry

The Bauchi State government has said it will partner with the two bodies of Animal Sciencientists in Nigeria, they include Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) and the Nigeria Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) to improve livestock and other sectors for the betterment of the Bauchi state.

Speaking during the courtesy visit by the two bodies of the association on Tuesday at the state government house.

Governor Bala applauds the Institute’s decision for choosing Bauchi State to be one of their courtesy calls, saying that Bauchi under his leadership will partner and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure improvement in the livestock sub-sector in addition to addressing the challenges bedeviling the entire agricultural sector.

In his part, the immediate past Tetfund Secretary, Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro express his appreciation for the commitment of Governor Bala towards providing good leadership that will facilitate the rapid development of the state.

Professor Bogoro urges the good people of the state to fully support the present administration of governor Bala for the betterment of Bauchi State and Nigeria.

Also speaking during the occasion, the Presidents of the ASAN  Mr. Raymond Obiajulu Isiandinso, and NIAS president Prof. B Y. Abubakar OFR in their separate remarks, acknowledged the efforts of the Bauchi State Government towards livestock production and pledged to support the Government to succeed in the sector.
