The Bauchi State new commissioner of police CP Alhassan Aminu assume office today and vowed to tackle the issue of insecurity challenges of Kidnapping, banditry, arm robbery, political thuggery, and other criminal act in the state.
While briefing on Tuesday in Bauchi at the state police headquarters said that the police will work hard in order to bring and see the good people of the state living peacefully without any disturbance from bad people.
Added that he will join hands with other security men and the good people of the state in order to bring development in the section of security.
He added that they ensure that the issue of modern policing and other crime control in tune with the global best practices is to amongst others, contribute towards the creation of trust in communities.
The new CP further said that the police in Bauchi will make sure that he tackles the issue of youths participating in political thugs in order creates problems during the campaign.
” Our duty is to ensure that the documents of the election are observed and the life of the good people of Bauchi State are protected”
CP Alhassan said that by the grace of Allah Bauchi State will have the best and most successful election in the forthcoming general election to come in 2023.
Alhassan urges the good people of Bauchi State to stay away from something that will bring problems to the state like at this particular time of politics, that people should not take the law into their hands.
The new Bauchi CP expressed his appreciation to the inspector general of police for seeing him worthy in order to head Bauchi, promising to work hard for the development of the state police and Nigeria at large.
