Bauchi National Assembly Members Are Fighting Me, Because I Refused To Construct Houses And Buy Exotic Cars As Compensation For Them

Logpobiri Anaiya

Governor Abubakar of Bauchi state has finally opened up why National assembly members from Bauchi are fighting him.

This is just as Abubakar said, he will not succumb to any external pressure and blackmail to the detriment of Bauchi electorates.

He gave the hints while addressing journalists at the government house as part of ist October celebration message

Abubakar added that when the APC administration emerged victorious after the 2015 election, National Assembly members from Bauchi state approached him to construct a house for each of them in Abuja including exotic cars as a compensation for supporting him to emerge as governor.

He stressed that following his resistance on the request that marked the beginning of their feud and nothing else.

According to the governor, their request stands contrary to the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

He urged them to toe a path of honour and embrace true tenets of democracy in the implementation of the APC blueprint.
