Bauchi Governor Suspends BASOVCA Chairperson Over Misconduct

The Chairperson of the Bauchi State Orphans and Vulnerable Children Agency (BASOVCA), Hassana Arkila has been suspended from office by Governor Bala Mohammed of the state.

As contained in a press statement issued to journalists in Bauchi by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, comrade Muktar Gidado, her Suspension was as a result of alleged misconduct.

Gidado who said that the suspension is with immediate effect noted that the Chairperson has been directed to hand over the affairs of the Agency to the most senior officer.

 

He said that Suspension is with immediate effect, pending the outcome of an investigation that has been instituted by the Government.
