Bauchi: Construction Of Magistrate Court Complex To Be Completed Before December – Contractor Bashir

The contractor of the Magistrate Court Complex (High Court), Alhaji Bashir Adamu on Friday said the construction will be completed and available for use before December this year.
Bashir said this when he received the Honourable Commissioner of Works and Transport, Professor Titus Saul Ketkukah, on an inspection visit to the site of the construction.
The construction of the Magistrate Court Complex comprises 12 Court offices, and each court has 3 offices, which are the Judge’s office, the registrar and the supporting staff office.
He said that the construction of the Complex was awarded in 2011, but due to some challenge,s the site of the construction was abandoned by the previous administrations.
The contractor, Bashir said the site continue existing when Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir came to power, then he reviewed the contract and awarded.
According to Bashir said that since the Governor approved the contract, they have not and never requested anything that the State government didn’t give them.
He further said that the State government has provided everything for the construction of the Magistrate Court Complex.
“We have thousands of thanks to Governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir because since we started this project, any request for our payment has never been delayed, so we greatly appreciate him for awarding the contract and providing everything for the constructio.n”
While the commissioner of works and transport, Professor Titus Saul Ketkukah urged the contractor to make sure he kept the promise of finishing everything before December.
He said that finishing the work of the magistrate court complex in time will bring development to Bauchi State.
The commissioner expressed his appreciation to Governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir for approving and funding the construction of the Magistrate Court Complex.
