All the twenty-four commissioner nominees forwarded to Bauchi State House of Assembly by Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir have been cleared by the lawmakers for appointment as members of the state Executive Council.
Speaker of the State Assembly, Abubakar Y. Suleiman who addressed Newsmen immediately after the plenary in Bauchi, said that all the Commissioner Nominees were cleared after being screened by the legislatures.
According to the speaker, said that “The House is happy with the kind of nominees sent to them.
He said that “We took our time on each nominee and ended up spending two days for the screening of all commissioner nominees.
The speaker, Suleiman assures that the Bauchi State honorable members of the House will work in harmony with the Executive Council to deliver dividends of democracy to the good people of the State.
The Commissioner Nominees included: Maiwada Bello, Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, Mahmoud Babamaji Abubakar, Danlami Ahmed Kawule, Lydia Haruna Tsammani, Ahmed Aliyu, Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza, Usman Garba Danturaki.
Others are: Abdul Hassan, Salis Muhammad, Yakubu Adamu, Usman Abdulkadir Moddibo, Hajara Jibrin Gidado, Farouk Mustapha, Hajara Yakubu Wanka.
The Rest Include: Aminu Hammayo, Hassan El-Yakub, Muhammad Hamisu Shira, Simon Madugu Yalams, Abubakar Abdulhamid, Jamila Muhammad Dahiru, Adamu Umar Sambo, Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki, Amina Muhammad Katagum.
