Ban On Okada In FCT: CP Charged DPO’s To Enforce To The Later

The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Wilson Inalegwu has observed with dismay how the ban on the operation of ‘Okada’ in FCT by the Hon. Minister FCT Sen. Bala Mohammed is being flouted. In order to check this ugly trend, he has directed all Divisional Police Officers of the FCT Command to ensure robust enforcement of the ban in their respective areas of responsibilities (AORs).

The Commissioner, who gave this directive in a briefing with the DPO’s in his office today, charged all officers to arrest any person(s) found violating the ban and deal with them in line with relevant Traffic Regulations. He also called on the residents to always be law abiding, vigilant, and promptly give useful information to the police.
