Atiku Holds Closed Door Meeting With Sule Lamido

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and also an All Progressive Congress, presidential aspirant held a secret meeting with the Jigawa state governor Alhaji Sule Lamido.

The opposition party presidential aspirant visited the PDP governor at his Personal residence on Sunday in Dutse the State  capital.
The two personalities held a closed door meeting, which lasted for about two hours, came out after the meeting smiling and shaking themselves.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who couldn’t make the purpose of his visit known, but it may not be unconnected with his presidential ambition in 2015 and to lure Lamido to his party APC.
The Turaki of Adamawa kept mute on the agenda they discussed and went straight to Dutse International Airport as he left around 2:30pm.
Meanwhile the former vice president while speaking with newsmen said he would continue to aspire for the position of the president of the country even if he losses in 2015.
Atiku made the disclosure in Dutse the Jigawa State capital state during his campaign tour to the state where he met with the state’s party (APC) executives and delegates ahead of the  party’s presidential primaries coming up on 12th of next month.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who made the disclosure while fielding questions to Journalist shortly after his meeting with the party officials and delegate said; “I will continue to aspire beyond 2015 till I succeeded to occupy the office of the president”.
He also stated that “I will support whoever becomes the presidential candidate of the party, I hope it will be me”.

Commenting on the security action at the APC’s  party office in Lagos, the aspirant condemned the act and described its as “unfortunate”, he added that “this to show how desperate is government”.
