Association of Agricultural Products Dealers To Inaugurates Plateau State Chapter To Cub Price Hike On Foodstuffs Transportation

The plateau state chapter of  National Association of Agricultural product Dealers Hamman Yusuf  has expressed the association readiness to ensure that management  team of the association will soon be inaugurated  for the smooth take off .

Speaking during his stakeholders meeting with the management team at the headquarters, Federal secretariat Jos.

Hamman said that after inauguration the state chapter will commence enforcement on multiple taxation and levies along Nigeria high ways to reduce price hike on foodstuffs transportation.

He reiterated further that the benefit to common man on the streets can’t be overemphasizing owning to recession in the country which affects price of agriculture services product in the market.

According to him, the program is to take care of double taxation levies along Nigeria high ways and the association is willing partner with the military in achieving the set goals.

Hamman maintains that the present hike in prices of foodstuffs in the country during this period of time with challenges of multiple taxation in movement of goods from loading up to final destination will help to reduce high rate of inflation.

He said the present situation reveal where you first pay at the point of loading to various states you may pass through other states without paying anything.

Hamman lamented that plateau state government is still collecting revenue on highways in spite of the warning from federal agency in charge.

The chairman charged members to endure all manner of change to rescue the state and stop those milking the state and are feeding fat on the collection.

“We are committed to ensure that uniform will be distributing all our members including media team, to function properly” he explained.
