ASP Ofe Wins 9th IGP, Nigeria Taekwondo Federation Championship

The just Concluded  9th IGP’s Taekwondo Championship in Lagos was a fierce battle by many professionals to secure the championship position. However, ASP Ofe Mordecai came out victorious as he unleashed his taekwondo skills on his opponent to become the Champion. Ofe won a Gold Medal of the Heavyweight Category at the event.

 

ASP Ofe is a graduate of Physics from the Nigeria Police Academy. He is a member of the Regular Course One (1) and an undisputed Taekwondo Champion of his time in the Academy. He is a disciplined black belter with several clean records in the academy before he was commissioned in December, 2018 by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

 

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, has congratulated the champion and urged him to keep the flag flying and continue exhibiting the spirit of sportsmanship. The police boss added that Ofe has made the Force proud and that with the passion in him the sky shall be his starting point.
