Asaigbo 2018:Miss Sarah Emerges New Queen

The Grand Finale of Miss Asaigbo Beauty Pageant & Igbo Merit Award was held on Friday,14th December 2018 at the Prestigious City Villa inside City Global Hotel, Owerri.

It was galaxy of “Who is Who” as the cream de la cream of Igbo land were on hand to crown Queen Serah Ukasoanya a 23 year old graduate of Biochemistry from Imo State University as the 5th Asaigbo Queen.

Some respected dignitaries who were in attendance includes: Rt. Hon.Emeka Ihedioha,Dr.Linus Okorie,Dr.Sam Amadi,Prince Ezeala Akanno,Chief (Lolo) Becky Zander aka Agu Nwanyi, Mercy Ifeanyichukwu, and Chief Barr.Ifeanyi Olumba,who was the Chairman of the occasion.

Other dignitaries present were the five Traditional Rulers from across three LGA’s in Mbaise Nation and a Royal Father from Ikeduru LGA,alongside numerous friends and fans of Asaigbo family.

The programme was however a huge success to the glory of God.

In her words,the Queen expressed delight to wear the crown as the most beautiful Asaigbo girl. She promised to uplift the pageant and vowed to carry everyone along.

“My heart is filled with joy,I don’t even know what to say. I am very happy and ‘am so much appreciative to the foundation”,she stated.

The President of Asaigbo Foundation,Prince Mike Akubueze,expressed satisfaction for the successes recorded so far by the leadership and management of Asaigbo Group. He commended all the contestants who strived effectively during the last contest but congratulated the winner of Miss Asaigbo 2018,Queen Serah Ukasoanya for wearing the crown as the reigning Queen.

He charged the winner,Queen Serah to leave a worthy life of emulation especially now as the current queen for the next 12 months.

Prince Akubueze therefore enjoined the new queen to promote the culture,tradition and core value of the Igbo girl-child and always think of innovations that would promote and sustain the foundation.

The Asaigbo Founder,Akubueze,thanked all and sundry from across the SouthEastern States (Igbo land) who turn out in their large numbers to witness,graced and honoured the 2018 Asaigbo ceremony.
