Arrest Killers Of Waziri Fursom, Jos East Chairman Of ADP, Party Tells Security Agencies

The Jos East Chairman of the Action Democratic Party Waziri Fursom has been killed in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

The party at a news conference on Saturday called on the Security Agencies in the State to fish out and arrest the killers of the late Fursom, as well to bring his killers to justice.

While addressing newsmen at the conference, Chief Nanya Daman, the Party’s State chairman stated that Waziri Fursom was killed on Thursday around 9pm in his village, Bayan Dutse-Fursom, of Jos Local Government Area.

“The late Jos East ADP Chairman was assassinated by wicked dare devils that pumped 16 bullets into his body. The villagers heard gun shots but, because of reverberation, they couldn’t come to the rescue of the victim.

“The ADP Plateau state, totally condemn this heinous crime against humanity and called on the Plateau State Government and the Operation Save Haven to swing into action by apprehending the culprits, using all security agencies, as soon as possible.

“We will not accept anything short of arresting those behind the killing of our quiet and unassuming LGA Chairman. We demand for fortified security protection to all ADP leaders in the country, as the APC as the APC sees us as threat.”

However, while fielding answers to questions from Journalists, Chief Nanyah posited that, he sees the hand of the ruling APC in the state in the killing of Mr. Waziri.

“The late Chairman in our last meeting here at the office has complained of threats from members of the APC in his LGA. He said they have told him to leave the ADP or face the consequences.”
