jos-on-map-of-nigeriaA 50 year-old man who owns a business in Jos, the Plateau state capital was shot dead by suspected armed robbery gang who specializes in stealing people’s property in Jos.

Mr Godian okoli, a 50 year old man met his Waterloo when he was shot dead by a 3 man gang armed robbers terrorizing residents of Katako Market neighbourhood of Jos North Local government of Plateau state.

It was gathered from eye witness account that on the 21st of September, last month Mr okoli was shot dead at his cold store and sea product shop located at Mallam Kure street by Fatima catholic church junction by a 3 man gang of robbers who stormed his shop that faithful morning by 9.00am pretending that they were there to buy frozen fish like any other customer, they also carted away N3.3million which is sales made over the weekend.

It was further gathered that in the process of hot arguments between the deceased and the robbers over the sales money, the deceased was shot by one of the robbers on the upper part of one of his legs and left to bled to death while they forcefully took hold of the money and fled in a Keke-Napep they used for the operation.

The brother of the deceased Alphonsus Okoli told newsmen in Jos that he wants justice to be done to the case of his late brother.
