Armed Robbers Kill  Polytechnic Student In Bauchi

The Student’s Union Government (SUG) of the Bauchi State Tatari Ali Polytechnic on Friday condemned the killing of Mbami Samuel.

In a press release signed by the SUG President of the institution, Usman Aliyu and made available to newsmen in the State. Said that “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our brother, Mbami Samuel, we’ll not rest until justice is served.

Aliyu said that the deceased, Mbami Samuel was ND 2 student of Mass communication department of the polytechnic.

The president of the Student’s demands that the authorities should investigate the incident thoroughly and bring those arm robbers that killed Mbami Samuel to book.

According to the press release “We urged government to add more securities in all the campuses, surrounding areas in other to keep preventing such incidents in the future”

Adding that “Safety and security of our students must be a top priority and we expect authorities to take concrete action to protect the lives and properties of students”

“We stand in solidarity with the immediate family, community, friends of the deceased, and call on the authorities to make sure that they provide them with necessary support at this critical time”

The Polytechnic SUG President, Usman Aliyu urged students to remain calm.

While the State commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu visited the students’ area, he described the incident as a dastardly act.

The Commissioner, Sani-Omolori promised the students and the entire Wuntin Dada community that the command will leave no stone unturned in unmasking those responsible for the killing the ND 2 student of Mass Communication, Mbami Samuel.
