Arewa Online Publishers Association Lauds Governor Ganduje For Re-Appointing Ex-NUJ President As Commissioner

Arewa Online Publishers Association, AOPA has lauded Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje for the re-appointment of Comrade Muhammed Garba as a cabinet member.
The General Coordinator of the Association, Comrade Dominic Uzo described the reappointment of the erstwhile President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Comrade Mohammed Garba as a Commissioner in Kano state as a dynamism and professionalism displayed by him in the first tenure of Governor Ganduje.
In a press statement signed by the Association’s Secretary, Comrade Balarabe Junaidu and made available to universalreporters.ng stated that Mohammed Garba displayed enough versatility, patriotism and dexterity as well as innovations and uniqueness into information dissemination in Kano State during Ganduje’s first tenure.
The contribution the Association said cannot be detached from the land mark achievement and development of Ganduje’s administration.
“The news about your reappointment by Governor Umar Ganduje into the Kano State cabinet did not come as a surprise as it can be likened to the saying that a golden fish has no hidden place.
“Your re-appointment is a clear testimony of the dynamism and professionalism in information management which you brought to bear on Ganduje’s Administration.
“It is a known fact that the versatility , patriotism and dexterity as well as innovations and uniqueness, you injected into information dissemination in Kano State cannot be detached from the land mark achievement and development of Ganduje Administration.
“Members of Arewa Online Publishers Association can boldly say that the people of Kano State were adequately and accurately informed of government policies and programmes , a development which had helped in creating a conducive atmosphere necessary for good governance.
“An amiable, unassuming and very entertaining member of Ganduje cabinet, your candour of humility, demystifies any man with bloated- sense of ego and self- importance.
To us, you have created a model and a pace – setter for others in the country,” it stated
