APGA Govt Will Provide Potable Drinking Water To 400 Villages From The N200 Million Security Vote

The National Secretary of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Labaran Maku has chastised the current regime of governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for pocketing N200m monthly security vote accrued to the state under the headship of the chief executive, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.

Maku while addressing Youth Organizations cut across the length and breadth of the state that paid him Christmas homage at his country home of Wakama in Nasarawa Eggon local government of the state.

The former minister of Information, Labaran Maku says he would use the N200m monthly security vote to provide potable drinking water to villages.

He confided that the state governor pocketed N200m without anything to show for.

He accused the state government of inflating the cost of road construction in the state, stating that the price of kilometer road in Nasarawa state is higher than the amount expended on a kilometer road in Ghana.

1Km road in Ghana cost N10m while the same company constructs a kilometer road at the rate of N1bn in Nasarawa state”.

All efforts to speak with the state Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr.Mohammed Yahaya Wada proved abortive as he did not respond to telephone calls from  universalreporters247.com.
