Since the APC administration has not addressed the threat of insecurity throughout the years, Nigerians have been urged by Hon. Ibrahim Danjuma Mani, National Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), to vote against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State and before the 2027 elections.
The APGA National Secretary, specifically queried federal government’s perceived failure to address the nation’s security challenges, which have become a source of concern to citizens, local and foreign investors.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Journalists at resident in North-Central geopolitical zone, Danjuma Mani said, “This condemnation follows the recent visit of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress( APC) Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to Anambra state.
He described the statement of Ganduje “as a tragic example coming from the government’s inability to protect its citizens.”
The National Secretary, highlighted the escalating insecurity across various states in Nigeria, with thousands of lives lost and millions displaced due to terrorist attacks and kidnappings and APC government had failed to address it.
He accused the ruling APC of neglecting its duty to safeguard the nation’s security, despite significant investments in counter-terrorism efforts.
The APGA National Secretary called for a radical overhaul of Nigeria’s security architecture, emphasising the need for a government that could effectively combat insecurity.
He, therefore, asked Nigerians “to reject the APC in Anambra state and the 2027 elections,” warning of dire consequences if the current administration remained in power beyond that year.
Danjuma, however, expressed dissatisfaction with the APC in the country and he called for a decisive action to restore peace and stability in the country.
