APC Ward Congresses: Hon Godwin Okpara Describes It As Successful In Jos North, Eulogizes Council

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon Godwin Okpara has described the wards congresses held in Plateau state as credible and transparent by attributing the mass defection of people joining the party as one of the integrity of President Muhammadu Buhari legacy.

 

Speaking on the ward’s congresses at Jos North Local Government Council, Okpara emphasized that the APC is where everybody is eager to be a member.

 

He eulogized the APC government and the Chairman of Jos North for leadership as well as chieftains for a hitch-free exercise.

 

He said the leadership of APC is very focused on politicians with Yoruba, Igbo has come to realize that the only party to liberate them.

 

Godwin disclosed as an APC stalwart many people have come to the approach that they want to join APC but my advice to them was that they should all go back to their individual wards and register so that they can get the membership registration number.

 

However, he explained further that what is happening now everybody has embraced the party, but no matter how good is the APC we may still have bad eggs among us.

 

Hon Godwin Okpara stressed that”as a player in APC I try to make sure that the effort of the founding fathers of APC achieves their goal and their effort should not be in vain “.

 

 

According to him,” if you look round many years ago I can come here sometimes lock my shops and start running as a way, but today you can see peace had been restored since the APC government normalcy nobody is running now “.

 

 

He commended the Chairman of Jos North LCA, Hon Shehu Bala Usman style of leadership where everyone has carried along in the area infrastructural development, this is a man that flag-off Jenta Adamu road construction which is ongoing now, Adding, Hon Bala is a Muslim but his passion for leadership restored peace in Jos North.

 

He maintained that the chairman didn’t discriminate against any community on the basis of tribes or religion but to ensure everybody participated actively in democratic governance.

 

Hon Godwin Okpara admonished people to rally their support to our amiable leader Shehu Bala Usman who has demonstrated a pragmatic quality of a leader.

 

 

He revealed that his accountability, transparency his conduct of carrying everyone together is what restore peaceful coexistence between the two dominant religions here.

 

Hon Godwin Okpara pointed out that their challenge now as APC is that many Nigerian are yet to brace up with what is happening or policy of repositioning the country for better service delivery devoid of the old ways of doing things.
