APC Presidential Candidate, Kwankwaso Denied Landing Clearance At Benue Airport By Rabiu Omaku, Lafia

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was today deprived of landing at the Makurdi Airport by the men of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Nigeria Airspace Management Authority (NAMA).
Though information reaching universalreporters247.com unfolded that the presidential candidate make a  U-turn to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport,Abuja and would be expected to pay the Nasarawa  state governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura a courtesy visit as part of his campaign to Nasarawa State.
The news broke as some pressmen that are waiting enthusiastically for the presidential aspirant started dispersing from the Government House   press center, Insiders revealed that the Kano state governor who was having a running battle with the president and the People’s Democratic Party was expected in Nasarawa state en route.
Nasarawa state coordinator of Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for President, 2015 Mallam Alhassan in a telephone interview asserted that the Kano state governor who was expected in Lafia in the early hours of today was denied landing permission and has since return to Kano.
Saying the APC presidential  campaign team in Nasarawa state would contact the press if the visit was rescheduled, At the time of filling this report the campaign posters of the APC presidential aspirant was seen at various points in the city centre while his campaign vehicles were on red alert to receive the presidential aspirant.
An APC chieftain in Nasarawa state, Hajara Danyaro chastises the ruling party, The PDP at the centre of her game plan to frustrate the All Progressives Congress presidential aspirants and serving governors.
She further said the antics and gimmick of the PDP will not deter the strongest party that will whisk away the baton of leadership from the PDP come 2015, This impunity to the highest order, Said Danyaro.

Also the Nasarawa state governor was a victim of the ban, The news of the ban came after Umaru Al-Makura, the Nasarawa State Governor, who was flying into the Kano airport from Makurdi on Monday morning, was denied clearance to land at Mallam Aminu Kano International (MAKIA) airport.

Governor Amaechi reportedly left Kano about 8 pm en route after he was deprived of take-off at MAKIA, On April 26 2013, the governor and his entourages were stranded for about two hours at the Akure Airport, Ondo State, on the allegations that the jet violated aviation procedures before take-off.
