APC Leaders Sue For Unity Of Plateau People Yakubu Wuyep, Jos

An All Progressive Congress chieftain in Plateau state, Hon Jock Alamba who is also The National Deputy welfare Secretary of the Party has called on the various ethnic groups in Plateau state to unit as one and to do away with the quarrels, communal clashes and the disunity that has plagued the state in recent years. Honourable Alamba Stated this while speaking to a team of journalists in Jos, the capital city of Plateau state.
” Let no one say I am not APC or I am not this or that; Plateau belong to all of us. And as destiny and providence has delivered us from tribal agenda, nepotism, impunity, sectionalism , and long years of deceit, just to mention but a few. Let us no longer divide ourselves . This is the time for unity among all Plateau ethnic groups”. He said.
The Berom elder who was speaking on the heels of the recent APC victory at the Plateau guber elections called on his fellow kinsmen, to join hands with the oncoming administration of Barrister Simon Lalong, Governor elect, who is from Shendam, Plateau south so as not to miss out in the scheme of things in the state, stating that ” As a Berom elder, let me call on my fellow kinsmen to come on board in the coming administration as this will show other Plateau people, and indeed other interested Nigerians, that governor Jang’s agenda is not a Berom nation’s agenda as we cannot afford to alienate ourselves from the Plateau project, which is the project of the people as was proven in the just concluded governorship race in the state.”
The outgoing governor, Jonah Jang of the PDP has been several accused of nepotism, impunity especially in the distribution of capital projects and social amenities in the state, and, in addition, to the manner in which the PDP primaries was conducted which saw an aspirant from the governor’s berom tribe emerged as flag bearer of the party in the state.
An outcome which did not go down well with the other aspirants and several others across the state and the middle belt.
 The APC chieftain assured that the new administration will run an all inclusive government and will also welcome defectors heartily adding that “I can assure you that Lalong, the governor elect will never behave like the outgoing government of the PDP as this will be an all inclusive government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
 No one should feel out of place as even the defectors will surely have their place as long as they conform to the wind of change, the will of the government of the day and that of the people, the APC chieftain said.

An APC chieftain Bar James Barry said God have removed us from political vultures who destroyed the resources of this country.
He appealed to the new administration to be maximize the usage of our resources for the benefit of all sundry.
Barry lamented the past eighteen years of bondage is now over by calling on the Lalong /Tyoden for ensure that everyone is carry along .
He noted that plateau people need to work hard and overcome all such of religious ,tribal sentiment by ensuring that we all preach mutual respect and tolerance as one nation.

The former commissioner of Land and survey ,congratulated the people of Plateau state for coming out to demonstrate mandate in electing leaders of their choice during the presidential and governorship elections which have come and gone. Barry cautioned people against statement that capable of bridging our hard end  democracy.
