APC Chieftain Gideon Dangdereng Says,” Incessant Attacks In Plateau Triggered By Exploitation Of Mining “

The embattled Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council of Plateau State, Hon.Gideon Dangdereng Davou has raised the alarm to Federal Government and international communities that the problems of incessant attacks in Nigerian especially the Plateau Communities are triggered by deposit of mining exploitation and land grabbing.
Davou stated this during an interview with journalists at the Plateau State High Court premises after the adoption of final written addresses between him and Musa Bagos in Jos.
He said in the case of Plateau state there is an influx of foreign miners conniving with the local herders to invade areas with large deposits of solid minerals.
Davou employed the Federal and state government to carefully take a survey of natural resources Plateau is endowed from God and harness them for the betterment of its citizens because they’re becoming envious of our resources which is now contributing factor why some communities in the state are in an incessant attack by those working hard to ensure they disposed of us.
He admonished communities pronged to this dastardly incessant attack by this economic terrorist, to always be on alert and use the Constitutional provision to address their plight.
Gideon Davou advised that Nigerian residents in mineral areas should cultivate to habit network and that they have the right in the Constitution to defend themselves within the confine of the law.
Dangdereng said Plateau land is under a society Governed by rules and regulations, so as a conflicts manager, we know what is going on, and why the people of the state are constantly under attack without any provocation.
He stressed that the militias or unknown gunmen or whatever name they call themselves are desperately in search of the mineral resources the people of Plateau are blessed with, and the only way they can have control over it is to continue attacking the indigenes till they are able to force them to abandoned their respective ancestral home while these attackers, or terrorists take over their homes and endowed natural resources and occupy it.
He, however, advises the affected communities in particular, and Plateau citizens in general to be alert at all times and defend themselves within the confine of the law.
Honorable Dangdereng Davou who contested for the seat of National House of Representatives to represent Jos South/East Federal Constituency on the platform of All Progressive Congress APC, is challenging the election of Hon. Musa Bagos of the PDP, on two grounds ,not validly nominated, and sponsored the second issued is the structures that bring him on board as candidate of PDP is illegal.
Hon. Gideon further said on the part the Petitioners, we have followed the laid down provision as far as this petition is concern and we are praying and hoping that at the end of the day , Justice will be serve in our favor.
My appeal to my supporters, is that they should be calm because there is light after the dark tunnel.
