Senator-Muhammad-Jibrillah-Bindow-288x300Following the recent utterances made by the Adamawa state Chief of staff, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abba Jimeta that the State has earmarked N200 million solely for Pastors and Imams to pray for Bindown’s administration, the issue indeed has become a topic for discussion among citizens of Adamawa.

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress and a loyalist to COS, in Adamawa State, Alhaji Uba Danarewa has cautioned Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow over their deteriorating political relationship with his chief of staff Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abba Jimeta.

The statement made by Abdulrahaman has generated a lot of tension in the state and nation at large as this has caused embarrassment to the government, where some concerned citizens of the State are of the opinion that government should barred Jimeta from making any policy statement.

Danarewa called on the governor not to sack the embattled Chief Of Staff (Jimeta) as doing so will amount to serious injustice considering the sacrifices he made towards the realization of Bindow’s ambition.

Danarewa made the statement via a popular Hausa political programme aired by radio Gotel and monitored by our correspondent, as he added that some politicians who do not want the progress of the administration for their selfish end were behind the move to get the Chief of Staff sacked from office.

The Governor who was embarrassed by the statement which portrayed his government as deep in corruption wielded the big stick by preventing Abdulrahman Abba who was hitherto seen as the most powerful figure in the administration from making policy statements on behalf of the government.

The development has caused anxiety within government circles as many see it as a prelude to the sacking of the Chief of Staff who harbors powerful enemies from the system.

Danarewa noted that sacking the Chief of Staff will also affect the fortunes of many loyal party men who played very prominent role during the election.
