Andoma Of Doma Hands Over Plot Of Land To Registrar For The Citing of NECO Zonal Office In Doma

The Registrar of the National Examination Council has thanked the Paramount ruler of Doma and Chairman, Doma Local Government Council of Chiefs, The Andoma of Doma,His Royal Highness,Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Oga for providing land for the smooth take off of NECO Zonal Office in Doma.
Professor Danlami Suleiman who is also a traditional title holder of Marafan Wushishi in Niger State appreciate the paramount ruler’s good gesture and sacrifice by Doma chiefdom and pledged to do all that is possible within the limit of his office to ensure the takeoff of the office as soon as is captured in the 2025 budget.
The Registrar gave the hint during an inspection and collection of the plot of land donated to the National Examination Council by the Andoma of Doma for the building of the zonal office of NECO recently.
“Another Zonal office of NECO could not be in Ilorin Kwara State because of the proximity of Kwara Zonal office to Ibadan, Oyo State which accommodates another zonal office, He added.
The August visitor was in the company of the Senator representing Nasarawa South Senatorial District at , Distinguished Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, Ciroman Doma.
Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo said the construction of both the zonal office and the staff residential quarters would gulp about #600 million, pledging to ensure it is captured in the next budget so that work can commence in earnest on the project next year.
While responding, The Andoma of Doma Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Oga Onawo appreciated the Register for considering Doma worthy and befitting to site such a national project that would be valuable to the growth and the educational development of the community.
He urged the Registrar to regard Doma as his second home where he would be welcome all the time and prayed to God to grant them Journey mercies to their destination.
The high point of the occasion was the presentation and hand over of the site to the Registrar situated along the Deputy Governor’s Residence,Dr.Emmanuel Akabe off Burum-burum road by the Secretary to Andoma Doma, Alhaji Musa Usman Addra on behalf of the Andoma of Doma Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu Oga Onawo.
