The National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN, Jigawa state branch has laid a foundation ceremony to build its permanent office in Dutse .
The outgoing chairman of the association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN, Alhaji Garba Hassan said several efforts have been made to commission. The project proves abortive.
The chairman said the plot was allocated to them for the last nine years but ware not been able to lay the foundation until this moment.
The project was commissioned by the Jigawa state secretary to the state government, and witnessed by the national chairman of the association hon Ibrahim mako.
The chairman said they proposed N24 million naira to be spent while building the association office and explained further that the project would be commissioned in the next four years coming.
Appealing to federal, and state to support the projects call on the unregistered members to join and registered with the association.
While delivering his speech the National chairman hon Ibrahim mako commended the Jigawa branch for its activities in promoting the association. in the state
He charged the state executive to make a difference when they come on board to move the association forward.
Shortly after the ceremony, the ANAN executives were dissolved and new leadership emerged in which Hassan Hashim was elected as the new chairman of the association and Bashir Madaki served as vice-chairman, and Adamu Haruna served as the secretary-general of the association.
Others include Musa Isah who was elected as assistant state secretary-general, Dauda Muhd Garba as treasurer and Habib Usman to serve as financial secretary, and Malam Kabir Alhaji to serve as PRO social secretary of the association.
The elected chairman Malam Hassan Hashim call on his member and executive to give them maximum support to move the association forward because without their support and cooperation. they could not achieve the target objective.
