The Suspended Embattled Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council of Plateau State, Hon. Gideon Davou  Dandereng has condemned the genocide by Fulani militias in  Plateau communities that too many killings are sponsored by high-profile Nigerians to exterminate them from the surface of the earth.

Hon. Gideon Davou , made this known in an interview with Journalists at his Rantya residence in Jos South LGA,  Plateau state.

He said that the Incessant genocide attacks in Plateau State and its environs are attributed to criminality, it was fragrantly disputed by another school of thought which Said the attacks are more on land grabbing with desperate Fulani militia fighters recruited to dominate the economic space of Plateau and displaced them from their ancestral homes.

According to him, the sprees of attacks and killings of innocent people in Plateau State apart from the criminal aspect, there is a plan underground to overrun the people and take over the land.

Gideon said,” I want to divert from the issue of criminality as insinuated by many that are behind the incessant attacks of the Plateau communities when you talk of criminality you talk of Arm Robbery and Kidnappers, I want to say this without fear or favour that this is not criminality but land grabbing and to take over the control of their economy after displacing them from their ancestral homeland “.

He explained that the indigenous people of Plateau citizens are technically sent away from their ancestral homes and taken over by Fulani’s jihadists, and disagreed that it is acts of criminality which is the intention to forcefully acquire their ancestral land for economic purposes”.

Gideon disclosed that the act is a ground plan by non-state actors sponsored by high-profile Nigerians, you can quote me anywhere because there is an underground agenda to take away the land from the people of Plateau State.

Stressed that that mining activities in the state, by extension in Nigeria at large have been hijacked by foreigners which is a clear indication that the Middle Belt is technically under threats of attacks.

The chairman further stressed that there are a lot of discoveries recently about the Middle Belt concerning mineral resources in this part of the country, which is one of the tools they are trying to push the people away from their ancestral homes and take over their land to do their mining activities undisturbed.

On what he is doing in collaboration with the political positions persons in the state to tackle the problems head-on, he said Nigeria is a nation with multi-tribal and ethnic diversity, unlike the United States of America, which is made up of the coming together of different people from different state to make up that country.

Hon. Gideon lamented that in Nigeria, this will say I am Tarok and so and so tribe but they forget that without a nation, there are no tribes.

And warned that until we continue, we see it from that perspective, if not we cannot move forward where they are focusing more on land grabbing, and administrative control of mineral endowment sites to be mining without security.

“Unless we are patriotic, and call a spade a spade no other way round, we are not moving forward as a nation.”

” We must understand that we are people of Nigeria and agree in that perspective, even people talking about zoning, it will not bring credibility.”

The Chairman of Jos South who is among those challenging their unlawful removal as the democratically elected chairman of their respective local government when their tenure is still running, said he is confident of the judiciary because is the palace of justice and hope of the common man, harps that were there is no justice it means we are not moving forward as a nation.

Add that having put all these into consideration, a lot of Nigeria are disenchanted with the judicial system in the country, regarding the judgment delivered but we still have to call a spade a spade.

However, called for adherence to the letter of the Nigerian Constitution.

Maintained that despite the shortcoming, he still believes and has hope in the judiciary of Nigeria. He maintained.
