Alleged Sexual Harassment By Langtang Council Boss, Daniel Dul, Judge Orders That He Be Served On Sick Bed
A Senior Magistrate Court sitting in Jos has ordered the Management Committee Chairman of Langtang North Local Government Council Hon Daniel Dul to be served with the notice of substituted on his sick bed through the court bailiff.
The Chief Magistrate court, Judge Justice Nanlang Dashe while presiding over the suit filed by Miss one Faith Mampak which is challenging the management committee chairman of sexually assaulting and harassing her as well as criminal intimidation.
Justice Dashe in his ruling following the application brought by the plaintiff counsel to the plaintiff, Barr .Jumoke F.Olagundare where it seeks the court to move for substituted services to be paste at the two residence of the accused person, Chief Dan Dul home in Jos and in his Langtang North home.
The judge insisted that the accused person, Hon Daniel Dul should be served with the notice of motion by the court bailiff for him to honour the court proceedings.
He explained further that, the application became mandatory in order to convey their message of grievances through the court bailiff.
Counsel to the accused person Bar.B N. Gamde told the court that, his client is indispose as a result of motor accident which caused injuries to him and he is currently receiving medical attention at Rayfield Medical Hospital.
He said, this is the second adjourned sitting and his client has not been served, but when the court judge called the counsel on how does he got the the information, Bar Gamtur explained that the news went viral on social media and media houses which attracted the attention of his client to appear before this honourable court clear his name.
The accuse is aware that though he has not been officially served, however he instructed me to be in court, the counsel to Daniel Dull said.
