The Commissioner for information and Strategy in Imo State, Hon.Comr. Patrick Chidiebere Nze,(Zegenze),has expressively refuted and debunked all the allegations levelled against the State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, his aides in the Rescue Mission administration and some of his family members of instigating and  masterminding the alleged looting of some Imo  government properties in Owerri, recently.

The Information Commissioner made this known to some newsmen in Owerri last Monday, April 16th 2019,when he revealed that the Governor is far more bigger than looting of any form of property worth less than a million naira at his level.

“Rochas I know is a very wealthy man before he emerged as Governor of Imo State. He has properties from across the nation and cannot be little himself by looting minor properties he fixed under his tenure as part of his infrastructural development in the state as a governor.

Those properties that was allegedly carted away in the state was done by some people who are not govt. officials ( criminals and political detractors of the Rescue Mission govt.) who does not want the peace, unity, growth and development of the state. The Governor is not aware of such criminal activities as fingered and accused. We are investigating the matter and we have informed the police and other security agencies to ensure that those culprits are arrested and brought to book so as to face the full wrath of the law”, the Commissioner submitted.

Hon.Nze, furthermore called on those propagating false information against the govt. of Okorocha to desist and use their various media platforms to project all the achievements of Rochas instead of tarnishing the hard earn leadership image of the Rescue Mission govt.in Imo State.

On the alleged claim that so many staunch followers of the Governor would in no distant time abandon him to join the incoming Imo Govt.,the Commissioner said persons like can never forget the love of Rochas upon his life and his family.

“On Imo Politics versus defection, let politics go to hell, I will never abandon my father (Rochas) or do without Gov.Rochas Okorocha. I will live and die with him”, says Imo Commissioner for Information, Strategy, Hon.Patrick Chidiebere Nze.

He therefore expressed optimism that Hon.Uche Nwosu’s 2019 Imo Guber Victory mandate shall and must be reclaimed through the legal process, even as he described the leadership preparation of the Imo GovElect, Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, as a “Short time Govt.”which must not last after May29th 2019 Imo governorship swearing-in/handover.
