All The Displaced Persons In Wase LGA Must Return To Their Communities ,Emir Vows By Yakubu Busari,Jos
His Royal Highness’s the Emir of Wase ,RH ,Alh Sambo Haruna Mahammadu has vowed to return all the internally displaced persons of 1998 to 2010 Wase crisis back to their villages in the emirate council .
Mahammadu gave the advice at his palace while receiving APC campaign rally in Plateau state. He said over one hundred villages have been burnt down by selfish ,ambitious politicians in Wase Local government Area so as the traditional father he is willing to reconcile all the people so that they can speak with one voice .
The people of Wase should see each other as members of one family and nobody should discriminate anyone on the basic of religion or tribal affiliation, he explained.
The Traditional ruler advised Nigerians not to sell their votes during the February general elections.
He said that there a need for every Nigerian to vote according to their conscience,” as he also advises politicians to put the interest of the nation first in all forms of electioneering campaign and desist from acts that could be interpreted to imply desperate manipulation of the electorate for political power because God give power to whoever he please.”
He urged the All Progressives congress to extend the hand of fellowship to the people at the grassroots, but vote for those that can bring change.
Muhammadu expressed worry over the level of destruction and killing of innocent people in Wase but challenge the APC gubernatorial candidates to unite and proffer solution to end the menace by living together with other ethnic nationality as one family.
According to him, now is the time for Nigerians to go beyond the campaign issues let us begin to ask why nothing seems to work in Nigeria in the past 16 years of our democracy, added.
The Emir tasked Politicians in the country to emulate the leadership style of Hon. Ahmed Idris Maje who have provide employment to over 5,000 indigents of the local government council in the past four years of been member representing the Wase.
He warned leaders against quick decision and judgment without hearing from the second party but to ensure that justice is done to everybody. Dr Haruna Sambo Muhammadu gave three key point that can bring people together, Religion tolerance, open confrontation and sincerity that can promote and drive peaceful coexistence among the diverse tribes. Lalong was also advice not to show sentiment or favoutism to any group if he want to enjoy the seat of power ,the bad ,the good and ugly are all human being hold them together as your own .
The campaign team were welcome by mammoth crowd before Yepmong /Lamba bridge which took them over three hours to get to the palace of the Emir. It was also accompanied by youths, Young ,old and traditional dancers to add beauty to the electioneering change team.
Speaking earlier the gubernatorial candidate Hon. Simon Lalong with his running mate ,Professor Sunny Tyoden also seek the Royal father blessing ahead of the 11th April,2015 General elections. He said, they were at the Royal father palace to solicit for his cooperation to deliver hitch free election .
We are canvassing and soliciting the people of Plateau state to vote for APC candidates in all the elective positions in the country.
